My engagement with startups has been as varied as working as a Partner in a Venture Capital firm investing in globally scaling businesses to heading up one of Canada’s oldest and most respected incubators (TBDC) and approving visas for hundreds of founders from more than fifteen countries and twenty different market sectors.
Expertise
Having worked with over 3000 entrepreneurs and supported startups in scaling, raising funds, and disrupting global markets, I have unique insights into what makes a scalable success possible. Also as an former executive at a VC firm focused on India and an institutional leader in the Canadian startup ecosystem, I have had an exceptionally rare view into what it takes for a founder to excel within a global landscape.
Personal
My father has been a banker all his life, and I am the first engineer in the family, by default (I am an Indian). I grew up with a deep inclination for design and behavioral science and shattered my father's dream (being a corporate finance major) by pursuing my MBA from Warwick Business School in Marketing and Strategy. "Hustle" is my calling in life and I take pride in pushing the limits, and hence, entrepreneurship, chaos, innovation, and FOMO make me who I am today.
